Journalists are known to be well versed in penning down their thoughts on issues relevant to society. However, there are other areas too where journalists excel. They prove their supremacy in yet another field, i.e., cricket, winning their match defeating Rotary club of India Faridabad. The twenty over match started with the city press club winning the toss and inviting the team of rotary club to bat first. In the twenty overs play Rotary club secured 142 runs. The bowling squad of City Press Club succeeded in containing the batting team at 142 with the help of sharp bowling of Imran, Pankaj Singh, Narendra Sharma and Ehtesham. Imran topped in the bowling side with getting five tickets.

In their turn of batting City Press club struggled in the starting but was strengthened later with the knock of 83 runs of Gaurav Chaudhary. Gaurav scored this 83 with the help of 4 boundaries and 5 sixes. City Press club managed to win the match in the 19th over of the innings.

In order to witness the match there was Rajesh Meena, director Galion Industries, Smt. Priyanka Meena Director HR of the company, Director Commercial Suresh Verma etc. The chief guest presented the prizes to the winning and losing teams. President City Press Club Bijender Bansal conveyed his wishes to both the teams.
