CM Yogi Adityanath lauds Galgotias University for excellence in higher education

Lucknow (India), 4th Feb 2023: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently held an insightful meeting with Suneel Galgotia, Chancellor of Galgotias University on the sidelines of higher education summit in Lucknow.

CM Yogi and Suneel Galgotia discussed the roadmap for making Uttar Pradesh the most preferred destination for providing quality higher education within India and around the world.

CM Adityanath appreciated the fact that Galgotias University, one of India’s top-ranked private universities, has received “A+” accreditation from NAAC, making it the only university in Uttar Pradesh with the highest NAAC score of 3.37 out of 4 in its first accreditation cycle.

Addressing the higher education summit, the Chief Minister spoke about the $1 trillion economy and said that education and universities have a key role in attaining this target.

He expressed his appreciation for Galgotias University and asked other universities to follow suit.

The Chief Minister also noted that the government is actively working with the top universities in the state to promote world-class education, create more job opportunities and employability. He further added that more investments and better infrastructure are needed to make Uttar Pradesh a leader in the higher education sector.

Chancellor Suneel Galgotia expressed gratitude for the Chief Minister’s commitment to improving higher education in Uttar Pradesh.

The meeting between the Chief Minister and Chancellor, Galgotias University is a positive step towards the realization of the vision of making Uttar Pradesh the most preferred destination for providing quality higher education.
