New Delhi: Ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the political fraternity is in full force to level allegations on each other or rival political parties and trying to malign contender’s political image.

There is no definite place for the political heavyweights to lock horns except in media headlines, through press conferences they usually speak out the allegations and lacks nothing to prove out their leveled assertions no matter they have any realistic existence or not.

Today, in a press conference held at Indian National Congress Headquarters in New Delhi, Congress senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP Abhishek Singhvi blamed BJP led NDA government to cover up Rs 7000 crore infrastructure scam.

Beginning with a slogan, Singhvi said, “Modi government ka lagataar jaari hai sansthaaon par war, Janta Maaf Nahi karegi loktantra par war”.

The Rajya Sabha MP said, “ roughly in July 2017, an  officer filed a 1000 page complaint to Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) of Infrastructure Scam valuing Rs 7000 crore, even after the repeated reminder from the officer in August 17 and January 2018, absolutely no action was taken from the government. Almost after one and half years, the commission responded that we have not framed guidelines for this yet.”

Slamming the ruling government, the leader questioned, “ why they have not framed guidelines If they have not framed guidelines then Congress will frame guidelines”.

According to Abhishek, “if anything went wrong the saffron party easily blames the Congress party or the opposition.”

The leader also doubt the involvement of the ruling government in covering up the alleged scam.

Since the case was filed by the IRS officer in July 2017, a question sparks that why the Congress is surfacing the issue after a long period?
