Cop goes to rescue kidnapped girl, shot at Gr noida

A cop from the Haryana crime branch, who had gone undercover to save an abducted girl, was shot at by the kidnappers in Greater Noida on Friday. 

The injured SSI, V P Singh, was posing as a kin of the girl and was in the process of handing over a ransom of Rs 10 lakh for her release when one of the kidnappers opened fire.
