CUET UG 2023: Galgotias University receives record-breaking 5 lakh+ applications

Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh), 16th May 2023: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) is on track to become one of the country’s most extensive entrance exam, with over 16.85 lakh registrations this year.

The Greater Noida based Galgotias University received the highest 5 lakh 54 thousand applications through CUET UG 2023 and has emerged as the most popular and sought-after university in Northern India. Last year, the University had received 3 lakh applications. The University has also received about 80 thousand applications through CUET PG 2023.

The Common University Entrance Test, formerly known as the Central Universities Common Entrance Test, is an all-India test administered by the National Testing Agency for admission to various Undergraduate, Integrated, Postgraduate, Diploma, Certification, and Research Programmes.

Reports confirm that most students scoring beyond 90% have opted for further education at the Galgotias university. The strong faculty presence fuelled by a reliable and encouraging student community made it the popular pick among the five lakh and more students who have applied.

The University boasts of providing students with amenities such as lush green lawns, centrally air-conditioned ultramodern buildings, sports facilities both indoor and outdoor, Wi-Fi enabled campus with digital library, IT-enabled classrooms, healthcare facilities, and many more, as per the CEO Dhruv Galgotia.

The CUET UG exams will commence from May 21 to May 31, while the academic session will begin from August 1.
