Renowned International Cyber security & Cyber Law Expert Advocate Prashant Mali told the Ten News in an exclusive Interview that the last amendment in IT Act was made in 2008 as it is the cyber law of our country. I personally feel it should be amended after every three years and I feel the last section of the IT act should be updated as the people should be aware of the new development of the amendment which were supposed to happen. “We need Section 66A again as Indian IT Act without Section 66A by which the aims of the act will cover through this act. Appointment of mobile regulator redressed issues and the mobile wallet company should have one more option in the menu in the application itself to see the redressals also. Having both the redressal and regulator mechanism will be helpful to the people,” Advocate Prashant Mali added.
