Daughters of PMO staff celebrate Raksha Bandhan with PM Modi
August 11, New Delhi: On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi observed Raksha Bandhan with young girls at his home in the national capital.
This was a special Raksha Bandhan as these girls were the daughters of sweepers, peons, gardeners, drivers, etc working at the Prime Minister’s Office.

The PMO released a film commemorating the event, in which PM Modi can be seen celebrating the holiday with the young girls. As they came up one by one to tie Rakhi, the Prime Minister was seen engaging with them.
