DELHI BJP DEMANDS ALL PARTY MEET ON SWINE FLU TREATMENT PREPARATION IN DELHI AND RS, 1 CRORE INTERIM COMPENSATION TO THE FAMILY OF A GOVT. DOCTOR WHO DIED OF SWINE FLU
New Delhi, 10th March. The weekly meeting of Delhi BJP Office Bearers & senior leaders today discussed the lack of arrangements in Delhi Govt.’s Hospitals to fight the Swine Flu spreading fast in the city.
Delhi BJP President Sh. Satish Upadhyay has expressed concern over lack of arrangements in Delhi government hospitals for treating patients of Swine Flu. Sh. Upadhyay has in a letter to the Lt. Governor Shri Najeeb Jung urged that a All Party Meet be called to ensure proper arrangements for fighting & treating Swine Flu. He has demanded Swine Flu tests be made free and all medicines be provided free of cost at govt. hospitals in Delhi.
Sh. Upadhyay has also raised the matter of the death of a Delhi Govt. hospital doctor Dr. Dinesh Singh due to Swine Flu and subsequent denial by Directorate of Health of Swine Flu being the cause of Dr. Singh’s death on 3rd March.
The family of Dr. Dinesh Singh who died after a 25 day treatment at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital has neither been paid for the forced treatment at a private hospital nor has been offered any compensation till date by Delhi govt.
Sh. Upadhyay has demanded that Delhi govt. should bear all medical expenses incurred by Dr. Dinesh Singh’s family and they be given atleast Rs. 1 crore as interim compensation on the line of the compensation paid by the Delhi govt. to a police constable who died in a agitation while performing duty.

New Delhi, 10th March. Delhi BJP President Shri Satish Upadhyay has congratulated the Indian Cricket Team for its glorious performance in the ongoing World Cup Tournament. He has said that it is a matter of pride for Delhi that our young cricketers Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli have led Indian Team to a consecutive 9th victory in a row.
