New Delhi: A joint forum of Delhi Government Employees on Tuesday said that ahead of budget session and for the best public interest the employees will resume the offices; however, the protest against Delhi Government will go on.
Secretary of the joint forum Pankaj Kumar said while addressing media on Tuesday afternoon at Delhi secretariat.
He said the forum has passed a common resolution which represents the various Employee Associations of the Delhi Government during a meeting today morning.

The resolution reads, the forum acknowledges that public interest is paramount and the budget exercise is core and crucial to government functioning. The officers associated with the budget exercise may attend the cabinet meeting in the large public interest, however, the joint forum expects that personal safety and dignity of these officers will be protected and decorum will be maintained in the meeting.
Pankaj kumar further said that the form will continue their protest against the Delhi government and hold 5 minute of silence at 1.30 pm in all government offices. The matter can only resolve if Delhi Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister tender an apology and ensure personal safety and dignity of the officers and employees.
