Addressing the gathering of students on the occasion, the Education Minister said, “This is in your hands, how you would like to use this tablet. It is upto you how you use it. I should not get complains that the children have become addicted to the tablets. Instead, I should get positive response from the parents praising the government for facilitating learning of the wards. I hope you will prove me right

He added, “Today we are giving these tablets to every students who have shown glimpses of excellence. The tablet is like a portable library that will be connecting the students with their teachers and peers. We are open to ideas from students as how to use this tablet, how to utilise it for better learning and even better performance.”

The DoE, under its scheme – Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya had earlier announced to provide computer tablets to those students of Class 11th and 12th who secured 80 per cent or more marks in CBSE Board Examination of 2019.
