Delhi police has to bring facts about Najeeb: JNUSU, President.

Who in the Delhi Police is responsible for the false leaks to the media about Najeeb’s links/interest in the Islamic State? The report that appeared in the Times of India appeared to have very specific details about this angle, but the Delhi Police has denied having any such evidence in later media reports. Who then are these ‘highly placed sources’?, asked JNUSU President, Mohit Pandey.

He further said that, Delhi Police has repeatedly denied talking to the media, they have planted several baseless stories, one of which was that Najeeb was depressed and might have gone away on his own.

It is our belief that Najeeb’s disappearance is linked to his assault. The Delhi Police, in all its wisdom, might disagree.
