DELHI POLICE CRIME UPDATE : DELHI POLICE CRIME UPDATE

A team of officers of the Crime Branch led by Inspr Anand Singh and consisting of SI Vijender Nagar, HCs Rajbir Singh, Rishi, Sukhbir Singh, Krishan, Shiv Charan and Cts Pradeep Kumar, Satbir under the supervision of ACP Ram Mehar Singh and overall supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh busted a gang of robbers/burglars involved in over more than five cases of robbery/burglary of Delhi. Three persons have been arrested and part of robbed/burgled property has also been recovered.

Information was received on 05.06.2014 that a gang of robbers/burglars would assemble at Uttam Nagar, New Delhi. On the information, a trap was laid and three persons were apprehended. They were identified as Javed (aged 22 years) s/o Razaak r/o Mandawali, Delhi, Savinder @ Rahul @ Babloo (aged 22 years) s/o Ram Dass and Yogesh (aged 22 years) s/o Rajbir Singh r/o Pandav Nagar, Delhi. Burgled/robbed property including mobile phones, cameras and laptops etc. has been recovered. House breaking implements were also recovered from their possession. They were arrested under appropriate sections of the law.

The arrested persons were put to sustained interrogation. It was revealed that they were first time offenders. In order to commit crime, they stopped residing with their families and all three of them took rented accommodation in the area of Mandawali. They used to conduct reccee of the area and then identify locked houses for committing burglaries. They are involved in five cases which include a robbery of PS/Janakpuri, three burglaries of PS/Mandawali and one snatching of PS/Shakarpur.

PROFILE:

Javed was the mastermind of the gang. He is a school drop out and a mechanic by profession.

Yogesh is also a school drop out. He is a tattoo artist. He is addicted to gambling. In order to spend money on gambling, he got involved in committing robberies/burglaries.

Savinder is also a school drop out and is a cable line man. He identified the locked houses for committing burglaries/robberies.

BUSTING OF GANG OF SNATCHERS:

A team of officers of Crime Branch led by Inspr Rajeev Kumar and consisting of SI Shiv Kumar, ASI Ayyaz Khan, HCs Sudhir Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Narender, Ram Kumar, Cts Neeraj, Satender, Deepak, Sudhir & Amit Kumar under the supervision of ACP O P Singh and overall supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh has apprehended four notorious snatchers/robbers namely Parveen @ Rahul s/o Rajbir r/o Sarai Rohilla, Delhi, Sagar Kashyap s/o Suresh Kumar r/o Dilshad Garden, Delhi, Shadab @ Mohd. Yameen s/o Mohd. Kayuum r/o Nangloi, Delhi and Kapil s/o Subhash r/o Vikas Colony, Delhi. Five cases of snatching committed by them in the areas of PSs Sarai Rohilla, Shakarpur, Seemapuri, Rani Bagh and Mukherjee Nagar have been worked out. Five snatched mobile phones have been recovered from their possession.
