DELHI SCHOOL FEE REFUND TO PARENTS – NEWS UPDATE

Justice Anil Dev Singh Committee has filed its 9th Interim Report in Delhi High Court on 31.12.2015 that recommended refund of excess fee with 9% interest to the parents by 46 private schools out of 75 whose accounts have been examined by the committee after its 8th Interim Report. The Committee has so far examined accounts of nearly 1000 schools out of which 561 schools have been asked to refund to parents excess fee charged on the pretext of 6th Pay Commission along with 9% interest that amount comes to nearly 300 crores. However, Kejriwal Govt has failed to get this money refunded to the hapless parents so far.
