Delhi World Public School, Gr Noida Celebrates Annual Day 2018

Greater Noida (10/12/2018) : Delhi World Public School, Greater Noida, celebrated its Annual Day 2018 on the theme ‘Indradhanush – The Myriad Hues’, with vibrancy and enthusiasm.

Salman Khurshid, Former, External affairs minister of India and also the mentor of DWPS foundation graced the occasion as the chief guest. His wife Louise Khurshid Chairperson DWPS foundation was the guest of honor. Both the guest were welcomed by Raina Krishnatray, Principal of the school.

The spectacular evening began with the Traditional lighting the lamp ceremony. The program was an amalgamation of various shades befitting the theme of annual day celebrations wonderfully. A group of students gave a spectacular band performance in which they played different musical instruments and tuned it very well.

After the band performance, the students gave performances like western, folk dances and bhangra along with patriotic performances. The most interesting performance which caught everyone’s eye and drew a great applause was, in which a group students enacted how human beings had made different religion as per their belief and keeps fighting upon them, The performance tried to convey the message of inclusiveness love and harmony.

Speaking at the event Salman Khurshid said, “Performances here by the students can’t match any thing i have seen in last 25 years, even small students here are full of confidence.

Further he added “Every school should chose something in which they are the masters and I think, the way these students did their dance steps with so much of ease, the students of this school are ideal for becoming the number one dancers among the schools of NCR region.”

At last school Principal, Raina Krishnatray thanked everybody for their presence.
