Delhi’s CP store hit by netbanking fraud worth Rs 7 lakh

The account of a retail outlet in Connaught Place was emptied of around Rs 7 lakh by hackers and the money transferred to accounts belonging to one Salman Khurshid and Rebecca Estees.

Police are trying to ascertain the identity of these two people. They suspect them to be fronts of a major syndicate involved in hacking accounts. The accounts were hacked using internet banking, so police have asked service providers to supply the IP addresses and their locations from where the accounts were accessed.
