Delhi’s Ramleela Maidan to witness 3rd oath taking ceremony of Kejriwal as Delhi CM

New Delhi : CM-designate Arvind Kejriwal along with his entire cabinet will take oath on February 16 at Delhi’s Ramleela Maidan, where Kejriwal took an oath when he first came to power in 2013.
CM-designate Arvind Kejriwal was also elected as the leader of the legislative party. The decision was taken during a meeting of newly-elected MLAs of AAP at Arvind Kejriwal’s residence in Delhi.
Announcing the schedule for the oath-taking ceremony, AAP leader Manish Sisodia on Wednesday said that the entire cabinet will take oath along with CM-designate Arvind Kejriwal on February 16.
Manish Sisodia, while briefing the reporters after the meeting concluded, said, “A meeting of newly-elected AAP MLAs was held at the residence of AAP chief & CM-designate Arvind Kejriwal today. He was elected as the leader of the legislative party during the meeting. He will take oath as the CM on 16th February”.
He further said, “The entire cabinet will take oath along with the CM-designate Arvind Kejriwal. The ceremony will begin at 10 AM on 16th February at Ramlila Maidan”. Earlier in the day, Kejriwal also met Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal at Raj Niwas in Delhi.
