DGP Sulkhan Singh Inspects Gautam Buddha Nagar, speaks on cyber policing, Jewar Kand

(16/06/2017) Greater Noida : DGP Sulkhan Singh today held a meeting of Meerut Zone police officers at Surajpur Police Headquarters of Gautam Buddha Nagar police.
The meeting was attended by DGP Sulkhan Singh, IG Zone Meerut RamKumar, ADG Meerut Zone Anand Kumar, SSP(Gautam Buddh Nagar) Love Kumar, SP City (RA)Suniti, Addl SP (City) Arun Kumar Singh, Addl SP (traffic) Anil Kumar Jha and other senior police officers.
After the meeting DGP Sulkhan Singh Said,”We agree that some unfortunate incidents have happened in this region lately but I wish to assure everyone that police administration is leaving no stone unturned to catch the culprits. We have made good progress in the Jewar case but details of the same cannot be revealed at this moment”.
Speaking on Cyber Crime he said,”Awareness is very much the necessity to restrict incidents of cyber crime. We have two well-functioning cyber crime cells here. People should not share their personal bank details over phone and should be careful from the fraudsters. Also E-FIR initiative of UP Police is getting good response and I wish to clarify that anyone can now lodge an FIR from anywhere. It is the responsibility of the police department to transfer it to concerned place”.
