Chief Justice of India, Dipak Misra, delivering his most awaited expert lecture on ‘Citizenry Liberties: The invaluable assets of a free people’ said,

“I have a question to ask why has it rainef today. I’l give you a answer. You see when there is competition there is lord Indra. Anybody who does tapasya he becomes Indra. I was shown the big platform you people have thought of. Indra felt that Galgotias will take away his Throne that’s why he got jealous. Today is the day of understanding each other.”

He further said, “When government fears the people there is liberty. This is a permanent value. We can’t bargain with anyone for liberty. Once your dignity is dented your individuality suffers.”

At last Dipak Misra also narrated some stories of Abraham Lincoln and referring to his wife Marry todd and then correlating him with the interruption by rain he said, “Lincoln was the man who fought for liberty and abolition of slavery when the weather was rough but he stood like a rock. He further thanked all the students for hearing him so patiently”.
