Diplomats and Dignitaries United in Holi and International Women’s Day Majestic Celebrations at Nepal Embassy

New Delhi: H.E. Dr Shankar Prasad Sharma Ambassador of Nepal along with Global Trade & Technology Council India and Lion’s Club Delhi (Veg) on 7th March 2023 organised International Women’s Day and Holi celebrations. The talk was attended by exclusive members of GTTCI and Lions Club Delhi (Veg). We were fortunate to have, Ambassador of Myanmar HE Mr Moe Kyaw, H.E Ambassador of Mongolia, H.E Ambassador of Syria, H.E CDA from Embassy of Colombia, H.E Deputy Ambassador of Japan, H.E Ambassador of Ecuador, H.E Deputy Ambassador of Trinidad and Tobago and H.E DCM of embassy of Lesotho. The event was blessed by the presence of diplomats from Embassy of Czech Republic, Kenya, Palestine, Russia and Australia, Lion Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President GTTCI, Shri Pawan Kansal, Chairperson GTTCI, Shri Ramesh Aggarwal from Aggarwal packers and movers, Mrs. Rashmi Saluja, Executive chairperson of Religare Group, Author Sherry, Navratan Aggarwal and Parmeet Chadha of World Sikh Chamber of Commerce. With technology and innovation playing such an important role in our daily lives, it is difficult to picture development in the twenty-first century without them. “Think Equal, Build Smart, Innovate for Change,” this year’s International Women’s Day organised by GTTCI & Lions Club (Veg) Delhi, investigates how innovation may work for gender equality, promote investment in gender-responsive social systems, and improve public services and infrastructure that meet the needs of women and girls. It’s that time of year when everyone is getting ready to celebrate Holi, one of India’s most vivid celebrations. Celebrating Holi on the lawns of the Nepal Embassy, the diplomats and guests embraced the event with great fanfare and excitement.


The celebration also witnessed experience sharing the spirit of both the occasions through welcoming of the Spring season. Among the cultural performances on Holi, the most prominent was the dance and song performances. The members also shared the famous Basant Utsav with singing, dancing, and playing with colours. The audience was enthusiastic throughout the entire event. The event was remarkable followed by an interactive session and high tea.
