India, (18/1/2019): The second edition of Asia Pacific Education and Technology Awards (APETA) was organized to honour the personalities who are doing great in the field of education and technology.

It was organized jointly by ASSOCHAM and The Education Post, which was held on the theme of “Higher Education Sustainability and Quality Initiatives (HESQI)” at Hotel Pride Plaza, Ahmedabad. The Chief Guest of the event was Shri Bhupendrasinh M Chudasama, Hon’ble Minister for Higher and Technical Education, Government of Gujarat.



 

Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR has been awarded with “Lifetime Time Achievement Award for Exemplary Contribution in Higher Education”.

The award was conferred to Dr. Makkar for her enduring initiatives and remarkable contributions in the field of higher education & skill enhancement.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Makkar mentioned that “these achievements could not have been possible without the constant guidance of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and endless efforts of GLBIMR team. GLBIMR is proud to be led by such visionary leader.

 

This award has enhanced the grandeur of GLBIMR already achieved two glittering awards “Rashtriya Shiksha Ratna” conferred to Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and “Best Emerging Institute in Asia with Strong Industry Connect” to GLBIMR at the same ceremony.
