Diwali week celebrated in Ryan International School, Greater Noida

Children of class 1&2 of Ryan International School Greater Noida celebrated Diwali week. Many activities were held such as speech competition on “say no to cracker” Lantern making and diya decorations. Children spoke about harmful effects of noise and air pollution caused by bursting of crackers during Diwali.

Aim of doing such competition was to  encourage children to celebrate Diwali in a green way. Children expressed their happiness by making colourful lanterns and decorating diyas.  learning the beauty of Diwali which is about coming together as a family. By making these beautiful craftwork children showcased creative skills spreading the message of peaceful and bright Diwali.

Children took the pledge of celebrating green Diwali  and lighting as many diyas as possible after all, it is a celebration of light over darkness.
