DPMC, organized a demonstration against BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Shri Narender Modi

New Delhi, 11 April, 2014- The Delhi Mahila Congress under the leadership of Dr. Onika Mehrotra, president, DPMC, organized a demonstration against BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Shri Narender Modi ,today, 11th April, 2014, Friday, at 2 pm at DPCC, Rajiv Bhawan, DDU Marg, N. Delhi-2. The Mahila Congress protestors assembled at DPCC office and marched towards the ITO chowk where they were stop by the police. The women protestors then burned an effigy of Shri Narender Modi.

Smt. Onika Mehrotra said Shri Narender Modi, on one side talks about women empowerment, but on the other side has dumped his own wife, disrespecting women at large. He never disclosed his wife’s name and was not given her rights as a lawfully wedded wife for more than 40 years that is deeply against women. He has misguided people about his marital status and provided false information which is a crime. It proves that Modi continues to hide facts from the people.

The Delhi Mahila Congress protested against Modi for hiding such a crucial information and for misleading the people of the country. They also demanded that Modi must apologies to the nation for what he has done.
