Entertainment hub planned along Yamuna expressway

Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is planning to develop one side of the Expressway as an entertainment hub. It has already designed a blueprint to speed up development work in the area.

YEIDA chairman Rama Raman said, “One side of this area will be developed as an entertainment zone, the other side as an industrial zone, all with world-class infrastructure.” A night safari project is already in the pipeline. YEIDA is trying to introduce huge theme parks and play zones along the belt. “Most of the companies that have visited this belt are keen to bring international brands. They are looking for big plots between 1,500 and 2,000 acres,” said P C Gupta, CEO, YEIDA.
