Esaarhi MOBILE APP LAUNCHED GOR SOUTH DELHI FOR PROACTIVE POLICING MEASURES

South east district Delhi police has recently launched a citizen centric app called "esaathi" in which civilians based on GPS location can directly call the concerned beat staff, sub inspector and SHO without calling 100 number which takes more time for local police to reach the location. The app also provides other facilities like online sharing of locality problems, tenant verification, access to contact and helpline numbers and other apps, servant verification, reports of unauthorized construction, illegal sale of liquor, dark stretches, goondas and bad elements in area, public drinking, gambling, and enrollment to various Delhi police schemes and above all timely feedback to requests and online records of every usage. The app is presently launched as a pilot project in south east district comprising lajpatnagar, gk, amar colony, c r park, Kalkaji, Nehru place, hazrat nizamuddin, new friends colony, okla, Jamia govindpuri, sun light colony, Sarita Vihar, and areas near mb road and mathura road.
