Charging Infrastructure and Range Remain Key EV Challenges
Speaking about the challenges facing India’s electric vehicle industry, Shaurya said customer adoption, charging infrastructure, resale value and vehicle range continue to be important considerations for consumers shifting from conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to EVs.
He said Greaves electric scooters can be charged using a standard household socket, reducing dependence on dedicated charging infrastructure. The company also offers battery-swapping solutions to provide customers with greater flexibility.
To address concerns related to the resale value of EVs, Shaurya highlighted the company’s buyback programmes, which are intended to provide additional confidence to customers considering the switch to electric mobility.
According to the company, the Magnus G-Max offers an IDC range of up to 142 kilometres on a single charge, making it suitable for regular urban commuting and daily mobility requirements.
Strong Response from Customers and Potential Dealers
Greaves Electric Mobility has received an encouraging response at EV India Expo 2026, with interest coming from both customers and potential business partners.
