IMG-20140726-WA0013he Aam Aadmi Party is releasing the photographs of police brutality in the national capital on students who were peacefully protesting against the UPSC discrimination. One of the photograph shows a serious injury inflicted on a girl student by the Police in its lathicharge in the Mukherjee Nagar on Thursday night. (Please find enclosed the six photos provided to the party below)
These photographs have been provided by the students and have been taken from mobile phones.
These photographs are in addition to the visuals already aired by TV channels and photos published in some newspapers today.
The AAP demands a judicial probe into the Police atrocities on students and the union home ministry, which directly controls the Delhi Police, must make a public statement on whether it had directed the brutal beating of the students on Thursday night in Mukherjee Nagar and on Friday morning near the Rail Bhawan.
It is a matter of shame that the new central government is following in the footsteps of UPA government in dealing with peaceful protests by attempting to crush the voices being raised in a peaceful manner.
The BJP’s central government must answer the following questions :
1) Who gave directions to the Delhi Police to deal with the students in such a brutal manner ?
2) Who gave the orders to shut down the Metro stations causing numerous hardships to commuters ?
3) Why is the government shying away from talking to students ?
The AAP will continue its support to the students till the entire issue is resolved
