Grandfather rapes minor grand-daughters in #Faridabad

Two minor girls were allegedly raped by their grandfather in Faridabad. The incident came to light on Saturday when one of the girls complained of stomach ache. On further questioning, she told her mother of being raped by her grandfather in presence of her cousin.

The victim’s mother discussed the matter with her sister-in-law and it was found that the latter’s daughter was also sexually assaulted.

The two lodged an FIR at a nearby police station. A case against the grandfather has been registered under Section 376 (rape) of IPC and Section 6 of the POCSO Act at Saran police station.

Initial medical report on the two victims confirmed rape. The police, however has not arrested the accused in view of pendency of initial investigation.
