Faridabad March 1: The agitation on Jat Arakshan might have settled for the time being, but the impact of the ‘goon impact’ it left on the people of Haryana and the country is not going to die easily. On of the long going impact it has left on the residents of Haryana is the gap, the violent agitation left between the jats and non-jats. The way non-jats were targated by the agitators, it has made the relations of jats sour with the other communities. While Faridabad didnt witness any such untoward incident but the impact is visible here too. In order to return the situation to normal, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Smt. Seema Trikha hosted a press conference today to communicate the masses by way of media. While she thanked media and the people of Faridabad for not being a part of the agitation and not spreading the negative sentiment, she availed the opportunity to accuse former Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda of being instrumental in agrevating the situation by sponsoring arson and loot during the agitation. She said that it is observed that the specific areas such as Rohtak, Bhiwani and Sonepat were severely affected in the agitation since all these areas are the strongholds of the former Chief Minister and congress party. She said that how can it be possible that all the shops in Rohtak were looted, house of Industries Minister in Haryana Government Captain Abhimanyu was put to fire, but the shops attached to the house of former Chief Minister went unaffected? While the claims made by Trikha seem to be genuine, the media found no satisfactory answer to the question that why administration kept silent spectator to the loot and arson. None of the police personnel tried to stop the agitators nor armed forces were actually used to took control of the situation. Trikha admitted that since Bhupender Singh Hooda and his party has been in power for ten years in the state, they are also having their supporters in administration and political parties. Since the affected areas are strongholds of Congress, their supporters prevailed over the law enforcing agencies in those areas.

Replying to a question she refuted the rumour of Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal Khattar being replaced by someone. She said that if there is any such official quote she could comment on it but taking the basis of social media could not be the ideal topic to comment on. She said that post on facebook or tweeter is the individual thoughts of the person posting it and hence, could not be taken as the party’s view. She called upon the media to spread message to masses for being united and not being divided by any political forces using them to their own advantage.
