Greater Noida (9 November 2024): The Annual Day celebration of Father Agnel School for students in grades VI to XII was held on Saturday, November 9, 2024. The event, which began at 10:00 a.m., brought together students, parents, teachers, and staff to celebrate academic excellence and inspire future achievements. The day’s highlight was the presence of Chief Guest Shrilaxmi VS, Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Noida Authority, who shared her remarkable journey and encouraged students to pursue their dreams relentlessly.

Father Agnel School celebrated its Annual Day function with great fervor, showcasing students’ talents in a spectacular program titled “The Fallen Light”. The event, held on Saturday, featured an array of captivating dance and music performances, mesmerizing the audience. Students from classes VI-XII took to the stage, displaying their skills in various cultural events, including dramatic skits, musical renditions, and energetic dance numbers. The program, scripted by teachers Victor John, Lindy Francis, and Jasmine Stiffen, and choreographed by Sahil Sharma, was a testament to the students’ creativity and hard work. Chief Guest Shrilaxmi VS, IAS, Additional CEO, and Principal Jean Paul Diaz praised the students’ outstanding performances, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence. The event concluded with thunderous applause, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

Shrilaxmi VS, Additional CEO of Greater Noida Authority, shared her inspiring story of transitioning from an Ayurvedic doctor to an IAS officer. Despite facing challenges, including marriage and societal pressure, Shrilaxmi pursued her dream, motivated by Dr. Renu Raj, an IAS officer from Kerala. Emphasizing the importance of following one’s passion, she urged students to break free from societal bindings, citing confidence and determination as key to success. Shrilaxmi congratulated toppers, presented mementos, and concluded by wishing students all the best, leaving a lasting impact, as acknowledged by Principal Jean Paul Diaz.

Principal Jean Paul Diaz expressed gratitude to Shrilaxmi, citing her inspiring story as a source of motivation. He highlighted the school’s holistic education approach, nurturing empathy, creativity, and integrity.

The principal congratulated students on outstanding academic results, national and state-level competition wins, and sports achievements. He acknowledged teachers’ and parents’ unwavering support.

The event featured a program showcasing students’ talents in dance, music, drama, and sports, scripted by teachers Victor John, Lindy Francis, and Jasmine Stiffen.

Rodrigues Bento addressed the gathering, comprising sisters, parents, and children.”Today is a beautiful morning, made even more special by the awards you have received,” Fr. Bento said. “These awards are a testament to your hard work and dedication. They not only recognize your achievements but also serve as a guiding light for others to follow.”

Fr. Bento emphasized that success is a continuous journey, urging the awardees to persist in their efforts. “Remember, success is never-ending; it goes on and on. Your accomplishments must inspire others, and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors,” he added.

The ceremony concluded with Fr. Bento’s blessing, “God bless you,” leaving the students and attendees feeling motivated and inspired to strive for greater heights.
