FDP on “Electric Vehicles” Technology concluded at Galgotias University.

Organized by the Mechanical Department of Galgotias University and sponsored by ISI e-India Pvt. Ltd., this five-day program aimed to promote “Electric Vehicles” technology. It is worth mentioning that both the Indian government and state governments are also encouraging the adoption of “Electric Vehicles,” and they have provisions for free registration to facilitate public convenience.
Highlighting the significance of a brighter future for electric vehicles, Vice-Chancellor Mallikarjun Babu stated that electric vehicles would offer two major advantages. First, they would enhance environmental protection, and second, customers would enjoy good mileage at lower prices with these vehicles. Electric vehicles are also being recognized for their safety features.
During the five-day program, Chief Guest Dr. Divakar Rakshit from IIT Delhi discussed high-capacity battery production for electric vehicles and shed light on various essential aspects. Abhishek Kumar from the University of California presented his research on electric vehicle engine bearings and sealing methods. Senior electric vehicle trainer from ISI, Mr. Kumar, provided a broad perspective on electric vehicle technology. Dr. B.S. Ramesha, leading educational initiatives at Altair Technologies, explained how energy storage for electric vehicles can be optimized. Dr. Sandeep Kumar Saha from IIT Mumbai discussed the need for a battery thermal management system for electric vehicles. Atul Gaur, Vice-President of PiCkart, particularly emphasized the transition phase from conventional vehicles to electric vehicles.
Chancellor Sunil Galgotia expressed his belief that the future belongs to electric vehicles (EVs). Electric vehicles will play a crucial role in reducing dependence on imported oil and bring energy diversity. With the rising pollution in cities, the demand for electric vehicles is also rapidly increasing.
CEOs Dhruv Galgotia extended his congratulations to the Mechanical Department of Galgotias University for the success of the program. He emphasized that electric vehicles will play a vital role in technical progress and job creation in the future.
