Federation of Resident Doctors – voice concern against rebellious patients and orthodox people

Greater Noida (09/04/2020) : Corona is a serious Pandemic throughout the world. Doctors , nursing staff and other frontline warriors .

It has been observed from last few weeks there has been cases found where patients misbehaved and attacked over doctors in Gautam Nagar , New Delhi & AIIMS in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

So FORDA ( Federation of Resident Doctors Association India) taking up this issue has written a letter to Ministry of Home affairs highlighting the need of Central Protection Act for the doctors.

Further in the letter president and general secretary also quoted about previous letters in which doctors from different parts of country complained about incidents which are taking place while handling the corona patients.

Also residents association said “we are front line warriors standing with nation against covid -19” .Lodging FIR against someone will not solve this issue as on 8th April accused abused the Sister and manhandled her. This was a serious alarming incident.

So through medium of this letter, Delhi resident doctors demanding quick response teams and in Bhopal FORDA demanding to make this crimes as a non-bailable offences.
