Four Dacoits of Padari gang arrested after encounter by Noida Police

Greater Noida :Â After a month of hard work, Noida Police got a major break through on Wednesday, when in a joint operation headed by CO 2nd and CO 3rd, four members of Padari Gang got arrested in an encounter.
The accused got arrested from Link road in sector 50, over a tip of police informer when they were on the way to attempt another robbery, according to a police official. One of the criminals also got injured in the encounter while some other members escaped, taking benefit of dark.
Two of the arrested accused belong to the notorious Padri gang, while two other members are locals who were providing logistic support to the gang. The gang is involved in 6 robbery cases reported under different police stations of district.
SP City Vineet Jaiswal while giving details about the modus operandi of the gang told that, “The gang belongs to Guna, Madhya Pradesh and comes to Delhi majorly after Holi to attempt robberies . They used to sleep on footpaths and station and do recce for their target. Majorly, they chose house that has a vacant plot or vacant house adjacent to it, as it becomes easy for them to enter the targeted house. In the interrogation they confessed that there are total 12 members in the gang and they keep changing the members for different robberies.”
Further, he told, “Member who enters the house use to remove clothes and only wears vest and briefs. They use to attempt the robbery in a very relax manner as we found water bottles and fridge opens which indicates that they use to have food their and spend around one and half to two hours in the house.”
Police has recovered three cars, tools used in the robbery and one country made gun along with two live cartridges. Over this massive success SSP Vaibhav Krishna announced a reward of 25 thousand rupees for the team involved in the operation. SP Vineet Jaiswal also said that the team is still working on the case and soon more gang members and the master mind of the gang will be arrested.
