Fr. Agnel School Greater Noida Celebrates Teachers’ Day with Cultural Performances & Best Teacher Awards

Greater Noida News (06 September 2026): Fr. Agnel School, Greater Noida, marked Teachers’ Day with a warm and vibrant celebration dedicated to recognising the commitment, hard work and lasting influence of its teachers. The programme brought together students and educators in an atmosphere of gratitude, appreciation and celebration of the teacher-student bond.

The event commenced with a graceful classical dance performance by Bhakti Agarwal of Class IX-B on ‘Gurur Brahma’. Her presentation reflected the traditional reverence for teachers and set a dignified tone for the celebrations.

The cultural programme was followed by a thoughtfully presented skit that highlighted the importance of meaningful communication between teachers and students. Through an engaging portrayal of everyday interactions, the students conveyed how better understanding, empathy and open communication can help create a more positive and supportive learning environment.

Adding a lighter and more personal touch to the celebration, a specially curated video captured the expressions and reactions of teachers, bringing smiles and laughter to the gathering. A PowerPoint presentation followed, taking the audience down memory lane through a collection of cherished moments and memorable experiences from school life.

The highlight of the event was the Best Teacher Awards, presented to acknowledge educators for their dedication, sincerity and exemplary contribution to the school community. Ms. Ufaq Jane, Ms. Shikha Yadav, Mr. Mahesh Kumar and Mr. Ajay Mohan were felicitated for their outstanding commitment to teaching and their valuable contribution towards students’ growth and development.

Addressing the gathering, Assistant Manager Rev. Fr. Jovito, Principal Sr. Joanita Mendes and Vice Principal Sir Joji Joseph appreciated the students for their creative and meaningful presentations. They also recognised the efforts of the teaching fraternity and encouraged teachers to continue setting high standards through their work, values and conduct.

The school leadership emphasised the importance of teachers serving not only as educators but also as role models who influence students through their guidance, compassion and dedication. The teachers were encouraged to remain exemplary in their profession and continue inspiring students to strive for excellence.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Anusmita on behalf of the teaching staff. She expressed her gratitude to the school management, leadership, students and everyone who contributed to making the occasion memorable.
