Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Greater Noida was high on drama and substance. There were many moments during the event which gave a completely different meaning to what appears through cameras during such rallies.

While the PM arrived with over 1.5 hour of delay, the excitement among crowd maintained through patriotic songs and folk Raginis.

The crowd at Greater Noida comprised of large number of college students owing to the event venue being amid large number of colleges. To keep the Josh high, there was also a live music troop which was giving live presentation of patriotic songs.

It was followed by a euphoric patriotic performance on a special Ragini based on Air Strikes and performed by folk singer Bramhapal Nagar.

As soon as the Prime Minister arrived at the event, the crowd erupted in loud chants of Modi- Modi. The chants continued even when Union Minister Mahesh Sharma was speaking and also interrupted UP CM Yogi Adityanath for a while.

If the mood of Greater Noida crowd was anything to go by, the magic of Modi looks far from over. Infact it seemed that the Pakistan Air Strike operation has further boosted his image and infused high Josh among the electorals.

We also met with one of the voter who had travelled all the way from Bulandshahr and had arrived at the venue at 8am in the morning just to catch a glimpse of Prime Minister Modi.

There was also gross mismanagement visible at the venue. Considering the proximity of elections, the VIP passes to the events seem to have been given to one and all. There were at hundreds of people who had these VIP cards for the inauguration ceremony but couldn’t find a seat at the venue. Many people also left disappointed after entering the venue and not finding a place to sit.

Anomalies were also reported from the media management unit of District administration which has failed to co-ordinate appropriately for this very important event.
