From tomorrow ‘no helmet’  ‘no fuel’ in Gautam Budh Nagar

Greater Noida (30/5/2019) :   District administration is preparing for effective implementation for it’s innovative ‘no helmet’  ‘no fuel’ drive which is to be regulated from June 1. The administration has placed hoardings at different fuel station to make public aware of the drive.

There are total of 82 fuel station in the district out which 50 lies in urban areas. Security of all pumps will be monitored by the police as if any manhandling with staffs happens for denying giving fuel without hamlet. This is one of the major concern rose by the fuel station owners during their meeting the administration. After which they are assured of proper security by the administration.

Apart from this, the district administration also warned legal action, including suspension of driving license for not wearing helmet and arrest if riders without helmet misbehave with staff at filling stations and could even be jailed under section 151 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

Now it’s time to watch how effective this drive will become and how much change it will bring to the careless mindset of public. Or this drive too will become just a administrative order like many others which no one cares.
