Galgotias College Students Triumph at Smart India Hackathon 2023

21st December, Greater Noida: Monolith, an outstanding team comprising six students from various branches of Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), won the first prize at the esteemed Smart India Hackathon (SIH-2023) hosted at Amity University from 19th to 20th December, 2023.
Led by Yuvraj Singh, a 3rd-year student from the AIML branch, the Monolith team showcased exceptional problem-solving skills and innovation during the intense hackathon. The other team members, all from the 3rd Year, include Vishwajeet Panda (AIML), Utkarsh Pundeer (AIML), Anubhav Hooda (CSE), Aman Kumar (CSDS) and Namreen Habib (AIML).
Under the mentorship of Dr. Narendra Kumar, Dean Incubation, the team exhibited remarkable collaboration and technical prowess, earning them a well-deserved cash prize of 1 Lakh along with certificates of achievement.
The achievement of Monolith reflects not only the talent and dedication of the students but also underscores the commitment to excellence at GCET. Gp. Capt. (R) Dr. P.K.
