Galgotias University is celebrating a major achievement, ranking highly in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2024 for its contributions to all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. These prestigious rankings, released annually, assess universities’ contributions to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across research, outreach, teaching, and stewardship.

According to the the impact rankings unveiled in Bangkok Thailand on 12th June, Galgotias University ranked between 201-300 globally for SDG 1 (No Poverty), 14 (Life Below Water) and 15 (Life on Land) and 301-400 for SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), 12 (Responsible consumption and production), 13 (Climate action) and 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institution), solidifying its position among the world’s leading institutions driving positive change.

This impressive accomplishment highlights the university’s dedication to extend its efforts beyond campus through projects like promoting sustainable agricultural practices, climate change awareness, aid services and supporting local environmental initiatives. Besides, University demonstrates a comprehensive approach to sustainability, encompassing education, research, operations, and community engagement.
