Galgotias University organizes FDP on acquiring multidisciplinary perspectives & applications in the field of research

The School of Basic Sciences at Galgotias University conducted a five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) cum workshop. The objective of the FDP cum workshop is to provide a platform for educational specialists, industrial professionals, and teaching members to explore multidisciplinary perspectives and applications in their research. The event was graced by Professor Dr. S. N. Nayak from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Delhi) as the chief guest. Present on the occasion Dr. K. Mallikarjuna Babu, Vice Chancellor, Dr Renu Luthra Advisor to Chancellor; Dr. Avadesh Kumar, Pro Vice Chancellor; Dr. Nitin Gaur Registrar; Dr. Rajendra Singh; Dr. Arvind Kumar Jain; Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Singh.
Approximately 250 participants attended this program, including participants from countries like India, South Korea, the Netherlands, and more.
Dr. K. Mallikarjuna Babu, Vice Chancellor mentioned that by collectively exploring new areas of discovery, the faculty can contribute to the economic and social development of the nation.
Dr. Renu Luthra, Advisor to the Chancellor highlighted the significance of research to students and educators. She said that students opt for technical courses due to the availability of employment opportunities but more students shaved be encouraged to pursue a career in basic science where great avenues for research exist.
Sunil Galgotia, Chancellor of Galgotias University, stressed the importance of this Faculty Development Program based on research topics. In today’s world, educators, researchers, advisors, and the coming generations play an essential role as pioneers.
Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotias University, urged participants to gain knowledge from renowned speakers and encouraged them to undertake new research initiatives.
The successful execution of the program was possible due to the crucial roles played by Dr. Deepak Gupta, Dr. Milan Singh, and Prof. Lalit Prasad.
Among today’s main speakers, Dr. Aakanksha from Vanasthali Vidyapeeth Jaipur, Dr. Shrivendra Rana from UPES Dehradun, and Dr. Vanita Garg from Noida presented their work on various subjects.
