Galgotias University’s law students pay educational visit to Parliament House

Greater Noida, 3rd April: Educational visit to the Parliament House was organized on 3rd April, 2023 by School of Law, Galgotias University for the purpose of learning and gaining knowledge to understand the conduct of assembly and to witness discussion of the members during session.

Students of School of Law visited the Lok Sabha House and heard the speaker Mr Om Birla and got an opportunity to meet Om Birla, Speaker of Lok Sabha and also took a tour of parliament house with the help of the Staff of Parliament House. Students also witnessed the presence of Law Minister Kiren Rijiju, Jitendra Singh, Anurag Thakur and other members of parliament. The visit was hosted by Dr. Narendra Bahadur Singh and Dr. Shivangi Sharma. It was an enlightening experience for all the students to visit and meet some of the Members of Parliament and we have also learned the basic mannerisms or protocol which is to be followed by the members and visitors present in the session. Students have also witnessed the glimpse of the new parliament house, museum and library of the Parliament.

Professor Dr. Namita Singh Malik, Head of the Department of Law, Galgotias University, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. K. Mallikarjun Babu, Director Operation Aradhana Galgotia, Chief Executive Officer Dhruv Galgotia and Chancellor of the University Sunil Galgotia appreciated such educational programs and said that the all-round development of the students Galgotias University is always determined for development.
