Gangster held after shootout with cops

A wanted criminal from Uttar Pradesh, carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh, was arrested near Delhi-UP border on Friday morning following a brief exchange of gunfire with the police.

The accused, Amit alias Saddam, 25, is a resident of Baghpat district and has nearly two dozen cases of loot and murder registered against him.
