New Delhi (India), 24th February 2023: As an after effect of the Hindenburg Report, Gautam Adani’s company’s stocks have plummeted, leading to huge decrement in his total net worth.
In the latest blow Forbes Real-Time Billionaire List has stated that Gautam Adani is no longer in the top 25 World’s Richest People List. According to Forbes his current net worth as of Wednesday was $43.4 billion while the Bloomberg Billionaires Index said that his net worth slipped down to $42.7 billion.
This is a massive downfall from his earlier net worth of of over $75 billion which sank after the shocking report by Hindenburg. The net worth had slipped under $50 billion for the first time in several years. Adani is now ranked at the 26th and 29th place in the Forbes and Bloomberg list respectively.
The report stating estranged activities and hindering with the stock came out on the 24th of January and since then the Adani group has lost more than $142 billion in market capitalisation.
