District magistrate of Ghaziabad Vimal Kumar Sharma has ordered closure of all schools in the district till January 10th as cold wave intensifies in Uttar Pradesh.

“Necessary instructions have been issued to Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) to ensure 100% closure of the schools in the district. Strict action will be initiated against schools found flouting the orders,” Sharma said.

Government schools and central schools have also been included in the closure mandate.
