Greater Noida (07 October, 2023): The program started with lighting of the lamp followed by recitation of Dhanvantari Vandana. The lamp was lit by all the Ambassadors , High Commissioners and Ayurvedic domain guests. After this, Dr. DK Garg, Chairman of Ishan Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Center welcomed all the guests present by saying ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’.
Also, Dr. DK Garg said that we should live a life span of more than 100 years and living life does not mean that we have to complete only these years but we have to complete these years while remaining physically fit. Said that the Earth is our mother and she has given us many gifts, one of which is Ayurveda. He says that the person who saves the wealth of nature is the richest in the world.
He said that there are many successes of Ayurveda which we keep hearing about when doctors have said goodbye to some subject, then Ayurveda has achieved success. Today, big treatments are also being done through Ayurveda. It is also said that we want that every life should be pleasant and the life span should keep on increasing somewhere. Today 90% asthma is being treated through Ayurveda.
At the same time, the work of controlling cancer till the fourth stage of cancer is also being done by Ayurveda. The Global Ayurveda that is being submitted today is a single platform through which discussion on Ayurveda will be done. We are in Ishan Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre. We will also organize short term training programs which will not have any commercial angle. This will be done both online and offline. He ended his talk by saying ‘Survey Bhavantu Sukhina’.
After this, under the program, Panchakarma therapy procedure was explained by Dr. Kavita Sen and her team, in which procedures called Janubasti treatment, steam bath and Kati Basti were explained for blood circulation, back pain and knee pain.
After this, the program of Yoga Demonstration was started. Which was done by Acharya Pran Dev of Patanjali through many asanas in which Gurukul girls also participated. The asanas included Tadasana, Surya Namaskar, Trikonasana, Vakrasana, and Bhujangasana along with chanting of Om.
Bliss Ayurveda Chairman Fr Nitin Aggarwal addressed he said that that Ayurveda does not have any side effects and we saw the importance of Ayurveda during a global pandemic like Corona. Ayurveda tells about treatment as well as prevention. Ayurveda is the only science that talks about youthfulness. When we talk about health, it means not only being physically healthy but also mentally healthy. He says that today many suicide cases are seen due to stress. If a person achieves no matter how big a position he is but if he is not happy then he is not healthy. Today the person is running towards metallic values.
Ayurvedic domain expert Dr Akhilesh Sharma told that if we talk about the history of medicine, its initial traces are found in Ayurveda only. He said that keeping healthy is not only physical but also mental and spiritual. He said that Ayurveda is a pure science and today Ayurveda is being globalized. He said that Ayurveda is found in every corner of the earth, that is why he also appealed to the international guests to promote Ayurveda in their country.
At the end, Dr Nitin Aggarwal thanked everyone and described this program as fruitful at the global level and said that this conference will be organized next year also.
