UP Government to start two-wheeler ambulance to tackle with traffic delays

The Department of Health is planning to introduce motorbike ambulance services so that patients can be shifted to hospitals without any delay even in a traffic jam situation.

This motorcycle ambulance service may also be linked with National Ambulance Service 108. Regarding this, a meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be conducted soon and approval for the service is expected to come easy.

According to the information, 108 motorcycle ambulances can be launched in Lucknow, Ghaziabad and Noida on a trial basis. Some patients who are in a condition that they can be taken to hospital even from a motorcycle, would be provided with this service.. As most of the modern cities face the problem of jam and because of this many patients are often delayed in getting to the hospital which also some times cost them life. Hence this fast alternative has been planned to be introduced in the state.
