Investigation of Grand Venice mall situated at Site-4 has not started yet as Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC) has not submitted the documents required in the investigation to the CEO of Yamuna Authority.

So CEO has not been able to proceed investigation further. Now this issue of delay will also be forwarded to the Commissioner of Meerut zone Dr Prabhat Kumar.

UPSIDC had allotted the land for mall with a clause that if the construction work will be completed before commonwealth games 2010 and mall will become operational within the time limit than FFAR  4 will be applicable otherwise it will be 1.5.

But the construction work was not completed within time even though FFAR 4 was imposed. After getting complaint of this Prabhat Kumar directed a probe into the matter and later the allegations were found true. After allegations were confirmed prima facie Dr. Prabhat Kumar wrote a letter to UPSIDC and directed to cancel the land allotment and handed a detailed investigation to Arun Veer Singh, CEO Yamuna Authority.

UPSIDC has been directed to help in the probe and to provide required documents for the investigation till 7th May. The dates are well past but the documents have not been provided yet. However UPSIDC is claming that it had presented all the documents that were asked for.
