Greater Noida Authority CEO Debasish Panda briefs press, announces redressal of farmer issues

Greater Noida Authority CEO Debasish Panda today briefed the press about administrative decisions taken in last few months.

CEO Debasish Panda said, “Since after change of government Finance Minister had clearly stated that transparency and accountability must be given top most priority by government agencies. We are following the same and most of our information is immediately made available on website as well”.

 

Farmer Grievances on Top Most Priority

CEO Debasish Panda said, “Farmers as of now were facing issues in allotment of 6-10% population plots. The administration has taken it on top most priority. Whenever Yogi Adityanath visits Delhi, he always takes an update on the issue. 6% -10% population plot allotment is the main issue of farmers as of now. A total number of 4598 plots have to be given to farmers under 6% scheme. It is now decided that 2353 plots will be allotted today on 23 August  and information regarding the same will be soon put on website as well”.

After this bulk allotment of 2353 plots, 2231 plots will be left to be given to farmers of 24 villages. CEO Debasish Panda said that allotment of rest of the plots will also be taken in phase-wise manner and same will be done before Diwali.

He said, “The target for September 5 has been fixed for 1k another plots to be allotted and rest will also be done with before Diwali. We want to make sure that affected farmers can have a great Diwali this year”

On another major issue of 64% additional income he said, “Attempts will be made to deliver 64% additional compensation within next two months. Also development of villages will be taken on priority. Budget constraints should not come for development of rural projects. 114 crore has been allotted for same in this year’s budget. Every development work that will be undertaken in villages will also be put on website. Tender processes has begun now for the same”.
