Greater Noida gets a taste of heavy bass music with the Red Bull Tour Bus

gr noida The Red Bull Tour Bus cranked up the bass in the city today as it played to a packed house at Sharda University. At the second stop of this three city tour, three heavyweights – international electronic music trio ALO WALA, New Delhi bass music producer Nucleya, and trap master DJ Su Real – kept the party going on this gig machine and left everyone asking for more. The artists will now continue their tour and perform at Delhi University on Monday, December 8, 2014. ALO WALA ALO WALA, meaning ‘person of the light’ in a Bengali/Hindi mash-up, is a live electronic music band featuring Chicago-born rapper Shivani Ahlowalia and Tropical Bass pioneers Copia Doble Systema. Their sound is rooted in hip hop and branches into countless bass-driven subgenres as they deliver an explosive dance floor experience. NUCLEYA Nucleya is a bass heavy electronic artist from New Delhi. He co-founded the Bandish Projekt in the late ‘90s and is one of the most active touring electronic producers in the country, having performed extensively in India. He has performed at numerous music festivals around the world including Glastonbury, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Lille 3000 and the Electron Festival, where he performed alongside artists like Diplo and Modeselektor. After leaving Bandish Projekt, Nucleya moved towards producing bass-heavy music. He released his groundbreaking EP Koocha Monster in October 2013 and this amalgamation of bass heavy music and South Indian street and folk music was well received by critics and fans alike. DJ SU REAL Su-Real is Suhrid Manchanda, one-half of T.L.R.’s resident audiovisual DJ/VJ dynamic duo WWYYZZZRRDDZ. Su-Real has over a decade’s experience in the music scene of Montreal and New York, and now calls New Delhi homebase.
