Greater Noida Lawyers protest continues for second day over assault on advocate by constable

For the second Consecutive day district court once again witnessed the anger and protest of advocates association. Advocates are still not satisfied with the action taken by the police in an incident where advocate was thrashed by a constable. Today Advocates put lock on the district court gate again and protested demanding the arrest of the accused constable.
On 16th September, a video went viral in which a police personal was been seen thrashing a man later identified as Mahendar Singh an advocate practicing in District court and a resident of Garhi Chaukhandi village.
Today SP Rural Vineet Jaiswal also reached and interacted with the advocates. Advocates handed a written complaint to him and demanded strict action. Over which SP assured the advocates that the proper action will be taken after probe.
On the other side taking further action in the incident SSP Ajay Pal Sharma sent seven more police personnel to police line who are told to be present in the Police Chowki at the time of incident. While the main accused was all ready sent to police line as the matter flashed in media.
