Greater Noida Police Organizes Meeting of African Students and Local People

It was around two weeks back when an African student was assaulted by the group of local residents in Greater Noida. The incident made national and international headlines and both external affairs minister as well as UP CM took personal interest in its resolution.

With the same intent, Noida police on Saturday afternoon called a meeting between local residents of Noida and African students studying in Greater Noida colleges. While African Students alleged that they continuously face racial discrimination in the region, local residents complained of their reckless driving and speeding issues.

Both sides shared their views and problems and talked of their resolution. It was also decided to organize a joint-cultural event to strengthen the bond between the two communities.
