Greater Noida, Wednesday 15 April, 2015: I.T.S Engineering College, one of the Premier Institution in the field of Engineering and Management Education organized a guest lecture on “Computer Networks” by Dr. M. M. Alrayes.The opening of program was made by welcome speech by Ms. Bhawna Gupta who briefed about Dr. M. M. Alrayes who is Software developer in Libyan Embassy. Dr. Alrayes received his M.Tech from Jamia Hamdard, Delhi and subsequently his doctorate degree from MNIT, Allahabad. He has worked as a researcher for 8 years in Libyan embassy in communication sector and worked as a reviewer in IEEE 11th Malaysia International Conference on communication and published number of papers on wireless ad-hoc and sensor networks and other areas in international conferences. His other interest areas include Database and programming languages.

Dr. Alrayes was welcomed with the bouquet presentation by Dr. Shailesh Tiwari, HOD-CSE, ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida. Dr. Alrayes talk was initiated by explaining about Wireless Networks. His lecture specifically
emphasized on the differences between Mesh and Ad-hoc Networks and Sensor networks. Being a researcher and software developer, he explained about research issues like Scalability and cross over in area of wireless mesh networks. He also explained about various application scenarios like Enterprise N/W, Transportation system, Health & Medical systems and MANs.The B.Tech.3rd year students of CSE / IT branches and faculty of I.T.S Engineering College
attended the lecture. It was very prestigious for ITS Engineering College to have such a Dignified and very Humble Knowledgeable Gentleman and to grasp his views and technical knowledge.

Finally, Dr. Shailesh Tiwari, HOD-CSE, I.T.S Engineering College gave a Vote of Thanks Speech and Token of Appreciation to Dr. Alrayes.
